How would India fare up in the Future

Thomas Friedman ka "The World is Flat" pada kuch dino pahele. Tom ne Globalisation aur Outsourcing ka itihaas bahut acche se bataya hai is kitab mein.

Aaj Pramod Bhasin (President & CEO, Genpact) ke townhall hua office me. Outsourcing par badi badi baaten hui. Bade log hai to badi badi baaten karenge hi. Batein jaise ki kaise hum apne customers ko reduced cost aur increased efficiency ka fayada de sakte hai. Aur abhi tak to humne Outsourcing ka "tip of iceberg" dekha hai, hume aage aur bahut kuch karna hai.

Ek baat to hai ki Outsourcing se teesri duniya, poorvi Europe aur Latin America ke deshon ko bahut fayada hua hai. Yaha bahut saare logon ki jindagi sudhar aaya hai. Aur yeh log naujawan hai jo apne deshon ki arthvyavstha me Demand ko badhava de rahe hai, jisse arthvyavstha me sudhar ho raha hai.

Par kya ye samridhi US aur UK ke logon ki naukriyan cheen kar aayi hai... shayad nahi... US aur UK me agar Outsourcing nahi hota to wahan ki arthvyavstha ko jyada nuksaan hota. Outsourcing se wahan ki arthvyavstha me sudhar aur vridhi ki utni hi sambhavana hai jitni ki yahan hai.

Abhi abhi 2 din pahele Pune se wapas lauta hun. Bahut saare badlaw huye hai Pune mein. Yahan ek list bana raha hu...

Pahela: Pahele Road hua karti thi, ab gaddhe (potholes) hote hai
Doosra: Pahele bijli (electricity) hoti thi, abhi tak to thi... !
Teesra: Pahele logon me traffic sense nahi hota tha, aur abhi bhi nahi hai
Chautha: Pahele Shopping malls ek do the, ab bahut saare aa gaye hai
Panchva: Pahele ladkiya jeans pahenti thi (regular style), shukr hai ki abhi bhi kuch to pahenti hai (mostly shorts kinds)...
Chattha: Ladkiya pahele "terrorist" ki tarah ghoomti thi, abhi bhi ghoomti hai (they cover their faces to keep dust and harsh sunlight away)
Satva: Pahele IT companies bahut kam thi, aaj kal bahut saari aa gayi hai
Aathva: Property ke options bahut nahi the, ab to baaddh (flood) aa gayi hai
Nauva: "Oxford of the East" tha, ab pata nahi (there was a news in the paper that Pune University is not even mentioned in the list of top Universities of the world, though IIMs and IITs are)
Dasva: Shukr hai ki main abhi tak Hyderabad me hun!!

"Lost" vs "Kasht"

Kabhi socha hai ki agar "Lost" humare yaha banti to kaisa hota... Ek baat to pukki hai... Yeh serial Ekta Kapoor hi banati... aur usme ek saas aur ek bahu bhi hoti survivors me :) ...ya bahu survivor aur saas the others me shamil hoti..

Aur haan... Serial naam bhi to K se shuru hoga... kya naam ho sakta hai... hmmm... "Kost" ... naa.. shayad "KkkLost"... ye Kost aur KLost se to accha "Kasht" (pain) lagta hai :)
